1. Information We Collect
GoldPrice Pakistan is primarily a read-only reference site. We do not require visitors to create an account, log in, or submit any form to access gold rates, the calculator or any city guide.
- Anonymous analytics data (Google Analytics 4). When you browse the site, Google Analytics 4 may collect standard information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate city/country level location and time spent. GA4 may use IP addresses at collection time for functions such as coarse geolocation and service operation; raw IP addresses are not available to this site in Analytics reports, and Google states that raw IP addresses are discarded and not logged or stored as individual IPs according to GA4 processing rules.
- Email correspondence. If you write to us voluntarily (see Contact), we will receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use this only to reply and never add you to a mailing list without your explicit opt-in.
- Standard server logs temporarily record the incoming IP address, browser user-agent and the URL requested. These are used only to detect abuse, debug outages and tune performance. They are deleted on a rolling schedule.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, CNIC, NTN, postal address or payment details anywhere on the public site.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
GoldPrice Pakistan uses cookies in two limited, transparent categories:
- Necessary / functional cookies. The site does not use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage to remember calculator inputs. Essential display preferences are handled within the page during your visit and do not personally identify you.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). Set by Google to help us understand which pages are useful and which rates are checked most often. You can disable these at any time using your browser settings or the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense). If and when advertising is shown on the site, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings and the About Ads consumer choice page.
3. How We Use the Information
- To publish and improve gold-price reference content and city guides.
- To detect and block abuse, bots and scrapers that would harm site availability.
- To answer email sent to addresses listed on the Contact page.
- To customise ad relevance where ad cookies are not disabled (never tied to PII on our side).
We never sell, share or rent any personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services receive anonymous or limited data when you visit GoldPrice Pakistan. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 - Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense - Google Advertising Privacy.
- Google Fonts (Playfair Display & Inter) - loaded from Google's CDN on first visit; see Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
- Cloudflare (hosting & CDN) - temporary IP + request logs under Cloudflare's standard privacy policy; see Cloudflare Privacy.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data on visitors, most of these requests can be satisfied instantly:
- To delete any email you sent us, just reply asking us to delete it and we will wipe the thread within 30 days.
- To opt out of analytics, use the GA opt-out add-on or disable third-party cookies in your browser.
- To opt out of personalised ads, visit Google Ads Settings (see section 2) and/or set your browser to Do Not Track.

6. Children's Privacy
GoldPrice Pakistan is a general-audience reference site. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). If you believe we have inadvertently done so, email the privacy address above and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect new features, service providers or legal requirements. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and - when the change is significant - by a lightweight banner on the home page for a few days.
